I don’t know about you, but no matter how long I spend in the shower I never come out with an improved level of beauty so if something claims it can help me with that then I’m bound to be interested! The Jonathan Product Beauty Water Softener aims to remove the heavy metals from your shower water so your hair and skin can get the soft water they deserve, and I will be looking at how well it does that in this review.
So what does it actually do?
This shower water purification system is a patented 2-stage shower filter that changes the ordinary – often polluted – tap water in your home into pure, pH balanced water. It has been designed to remove synthetic chemicals and toxic heavy metals from your water supply and deliver water that is comparable to the purest spring water. This often results in softer hair and skin, and hair colour that lasts longer and has both gloss and shine.
Is it complicated to install?
As you can probably imagine, this device is not overly complicated to set up initially. All you have to do once it has been removed form the box is to clip it onto the outside of your shower system and it will begin to filter out all of those impurities! No tools are required during the set up process, and once you have managed to get it up and running you don’t need to do anything else at all to it until it is time to replace the filter (which happens after around 10,000 gallons of water have passed through it.)
What’s so good about it?
If you suffer from dry or frizzy hair and you have tried everything under the sun to solve these issues without any luck then the chances are high that it is your water supply which is causing this. Hard water can dry out hair and skin very quickly, but with the Jonathan softener this will become a worry of the past. It is easy to install, unobtrusive, and it will make an immeasurable difference to your hair and skin after showering!
And what is bad about it?
With all of the previous comments stating how good and useful this water softener is, it pains me to say that the niceties about it are about to run out. Many customers have complained that the build quality of the Jonathan is not up to scratch and that leaks are common place. If it is found to cause leaks then this will play havoc with the water pressure in your shower which is something nobody wants.
What’s the conclusion?
Being made from carbonized coconut shells and utilizing its abilities well may make this a candidate to be the best energy efficient water softener on the market and this is a massive plus point for this machine. However, with a more than a few mentions of its poor build quality, I think it may be back to the drawing board for Jonathan and his beauty water softener.
